Founder, Owner and CEO

Meet Will Jansen, the visionary Founder, Co-Owner, and CEO of Will of Africa. With a diverse expertise spanning business, relationship-building, conceptualizing ideas, 4×4 Adventure Tourism, and education, Will is the driving force behind the company’s success. His passion lies in people and relationships, as well as his love for Land Cruisers and conservation efforts.

Beyond the boardroom, Will’s heart is captured by his wife Anriette. When not traversing new landscapes, you’ll find him and his wife on a sunrise walk, embracing the simple joys of life with their furry companion Rollo. Will’s commitment to both business excellence and a balanced, fulfilling personal life defines his leadership at the helm of Will of Africa.

Josh Mabetwa

Co-Owner & Training Director

Meet Josh Mabetwa, the Co-Owner & Training Director at Will of Africa. A flexible disciplinarian and leader, Josh believes in the ‘how’ of getting things done as much as the ‘when’. His adaptive nature and polished interpersonal skills make him a versatile team player, thriving in collaborative environments. Regarded as a commendable leader, Josh’s well-rounded persona adds to his reliability and impeccable work ethic.

Beyond the training grounds, music is Josh’s great passion, spending his free time writing and bringing his lyrics from paper to performance. And here’s a quirky twist – he enjoys strawberries on pizza, proving that creativity extends beyond his musical endeavours!

Loekie van Staden

Financial Manage

Meet Loekie van Staden, our Financial Manager and the ultimate “Jack of all trades” at Will of Africa! Loekie’s expertise lies in the art of keeping everyone around her – bosses, colleagues, and clients – not just content, but genuinely happy. Will of Africa is more than just a workplace; it’s Loekie’s passion.

Beyond the numbers, she finds joy in motorsport and has a soft spot for vintage cars. With a dash of humour and a knack for balancing the books and spirits alike, Loekie is the financial maestro who adds that extra spark to our team.

Egan Tarr

Technology Manager

Meet Egan, our Innovation Dynamo and Technology Manager at Will of Africa. With over 13 years in training and 15 years mastering 4×4 trails, Egan is not just a tech wizard but a seasoned off-road enthusiast. His expertise spans eLearning solutions, course development, instruction, and assessment, backed by in-depth knowledge of defensive driving, vehicle dynamics, 4×4 and recovery techniques, and cutting-edge vehicle technologies. Egan is dedicated to sharing his wealth of knowledge, prioritizing safety and risk management in the ever-changing driving landscape.

Outside the tech realm, Egan’s heart beats for the outdoors, exploring new landscapes in 4×4’s or on foot. His joy peaks in remote locations far from civilization, where the vastness of untouched landscapes becomes his sole companion.

Michelle Beukes

Operations Administrator

Operations Administrator
